The goals of the first-ever Emergency Preparedness Mini-Fair are:

-   Emergency Preparation – Our hope is that every child in Hot Springs County will be able to have an emergency 72-hour kit by the time of this fair.

-   Education – Aspects of Emergency Preparedness – Workshops on water, hygiene, decluttering, organizing documents & photos, safe home & food heating options if power goes out, self-defense, herbs, composting…the list goes on!

-   Networking – Having people interact and exchange knowledge & experience

-   Community resource awareness – Learning about the richness of resources available in every aspect of emergency preparedness right here in Thermopolis and the Big Horn Basin.

Our fair will features workshops, presentations, and Q&A opportunities with experts from Thermopolis, Worland, Greybull, Cody and Clark, and family-friendly activities.
